Hawk Performance Group Moves to Southern California

Solon, OH – March 29, 2012 – Carlisle Brake & Friction (CBF) announces the new Hawk Performance Products Group (HPPG) headquarters in Chino, California. The establishment of the HPPG headquarters in Southern California is the essential foundation from which the group will drive strategic growth and is another step being taken to establish HPPG as a global leader in the high performance automotive aftermarket. Southern California, home to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), is widely believed to be the nerve center for the automotive aftermarket industry.
In December 2010, Carlisle Companies Inc. acquired Hawk Corporation to accentuate Carlisle’s position as the global leader in Off Highway braking solutions. Created in September 2011, HPPG united Carlisle’s performance brake division known as Hawk Performance and its automotive style wheel division – which is comprised of brands such as Cragar, Black Rock, and Unique. HPPG’s mission to become a leader in the high performance automotive aftermarket focusing on unsprung weight is reinforced by the collection of the performance brake and wheel groups.
