About
The CRAGAR Company was founded in 1930 by Crane Gartz and Harlan Fengler who originally made automotive cylinder heads. The name CRAGAR is derived from the first three letters of "Crane" and the first three letters of "Gartz". In 1964, the CRAGAR S/S Super Sport Wheels were introduced gaining CRAGAR a prominent position in the custom wheel industry. That wheel is still popular today. After propelling itself into prominence in the 1960's, the CRAGAR brand has retained in the minds of many Americans, all the fond memories of the muscle car era.
Today, tens of millions of vehicles are equipped with quality CRAGAR wheels. From street rods to dragsters and pickups to off road vehicles, CRAGAR is synonymous with speed, performance, good times and adventure. All CRAGAR steel wheels are manufactured in the USA to exacting standards.
